Word from the Dean

From time immemorial, science has always been seen as a vector of power, wealth and well-being. Many nations have only been able to shine on the world thanks to the extent of their knowledge in various fields. Today, more than ever before, knowledge and the mastery of science are the focus of interest for all nations, and it is the universities that have been assigned the mission of disseminating and producing the know-how. In the case of the Faculty of Science, with its 8 departments, 38 research laboratories and almost 5,000 students, and the areas of training, it covers (MS, SNV and MCS), the Faculty of Science is one of the most emerging Faculties in Algerian Universities.

Without forgetting, the contribution of my predecessors in the noble mission of presiding over the smooth running of the Faculty as well as to translate the feeling of responsibility felt in responding with dignity to the trust placed in me. I pledge to make my contribution to the institution as far as I am able, and to contribute in general, and to teaching and research in particular.

I call on all those involved, teachers, students and staff, to believe in this and to invest in our abilities, to make development a primary objective and above all to give meaning to the sacrifices that have been made for centuries, without which this area would never have existed.
